Kevin Sheerin Eternity Album

I’ve decided to release this my second album some thirty five years after my first album ( My Father’s House ).  

This second Album entitled “Eternity” has eighteen tracks of which fourteen are written by myself.  I have included new recordings of three of the most popular songs from the first album, “My Father’s House, Nancy Myles and Another Town”.  

I have invited my family to sing some of the songs and in the process I learned they are all good singers, as you will hear.  My Sons David, Barry and Cormac, my daughters Susan and Anita and my grand-daughter Jessica Rogers.  David and Susan give a lovely rendition of two old classics, the Gambler and Sonny, while Barry and Cormac sing a few of my own songs so much better than I can.  “Another Town”, “When You’re in Love” and “People in Need”. As for Anita, none of us knew she could sing until she blew us away with an Ed Sheeran classic “Afterglow”.  Finishing off the guest appearances is Jessica and as the saying goes, you would stand in the snow to hear her sing “My Father’s House.

Track seventeen is an instrumental played on the steel guitar called “Hawaii Tattoo”.  I’ve included this popular tune as some people just love to hear the steel guitar.

The recording of this second album was a little project designed to keep me occupied and entertained during the early part of my retirement, and I must say it has done that for me.

I could not have done this on my own, so a special thank you to Cormac for his Bass guitar and Piano playing, to Barry and Cormac for their singing plus music and technical input, to Jessica and Barry for their beautiful harmonies, and a very special mention to Padraig Grogan for his great assistance and advice.

I hope you enjoy listening to this album as much as I enjoyed making it.
